Fun in the Leaves

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

Between the rain drops, we took advantage of the leaves to get some great fall family portraits.  This family had the perfect setting with all these leaves right outside their front door.  It was so much fun watching their little girl crawl around and have fun!

This little girl was quite shy at first.  But after a but of warming up, she gave us some great pictures.  Nothing a singing teapot couldn’t fix!!

Family Portraits – The Haag Way

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

We had a great family into the studio for some holiday Family portraits.  Their little girl, Mackenzie, was such a blast to photograph…what a great smile.  I think we got some great holiday keepsakes!

Maddie – The Fall Baby

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

Well, the majority of the leaves on the trees around the house are all on the ground and have turned brown.  So having Maddie’s pictures done in leaves was out of the question.  Meredith decided to have her portrait done in the backyard on her bumpo.  Here is the picture that I captured.

Kathleen “Kat” – Awesome Model

Monday, September 28th, 2009

Just a tad spunky; Kat brought such enthusiasm to our portraits. Here is a quick photo that we took during the final installment of the Pose for Pink.  This is a 180′ to our standard Pin-Up editing.  Thanks Mike for the inspiration!

My baby Madelyn Ann’s 1st Photo Shoot

Saturday, August 8th, 2009

Well Madelyn was knocked out today because she ate a lot during the day so I took the time to get a couple of shots of her.  So here is her debut portrait – Sleeping Beauty!

Just your basic lighting setup for this, (1) main light at 90′ to Madelyn and then (1) x-large reflector to the left with a “kicker” reflector behind her.  Not to mention the (2) background lights to blow out the white.

Maternity Shoot – Our Way!

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

Meredith and I headed down to Long Beach Island area for the weekend. Our initial plans were to have a maternity session on Saturday morning, but with the July 4th holiday weekend we thought twice. So we ended having the session on Friday morning with the help of my in-laws. Here are some final edits of some shots.

Family Re-Union / 50th Wedding Anniversary

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

Family re-unions are a great time for everyone to get together to celebrate a special event. We had the opportunity to photograph several families that attended a 50th Wedding Anniversary at Villa Barolo. The client also wanted us to attempt a portrait of all the grand children in the lobby of the restaurant. I am always up for a challenge, and boy was it! Well not really, the youngest grandchild did not want to be held and started to cry. I suggested to the client that we opt to get the main portrait of the grand children and then get an individual shot of the little one at the end. She agreed and here is the final product with the little one added in post-production. Everyone that I have shown this to did not realize what we had done until we told them the story! There is nothing that we do not do in the studio to help a client!

An Afternoon at Washington’s Crossing Park

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

Catching up on some recent sessions that we have completed within the last couple of weeks. We had the opportunity to photograph a great family, including their new puppy at Washington Crossing National Park. We wanted to get the finish the main family portrait as fast as we could because we were not sure how long the puppy would be calm for. All in all we had a blast and here are some prints that we created. We got a 20×24 canvas mounted on masonite print of the family portrait for the studio and it looks awesome in our brand new custom frame. So we decided to add a new “finish” option to our prints. We will post more information and examples soon.

Baby’s Bottom

Sunday, May 10th, 2009

Who says baby bottoms are not cute?  Well we had 6-month old Brooke in the studio awhile back and she had to be the happiest baby ever to be photographed in our studio.  Regardless if you held her upside down of threw her up in the air, she was always laughing.  This is one of Meredith favorite pictures from the session and we got a 16×20 printed for the studio showcase.
