Family Re-Union / 50th Wedding Anniversary

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

Family re-unions are a great time for everyone to get together to celebrate a special event. We had the opportunity to photograph several families that attended a 50th Wedding Anniversary at Villa Barolo. The client also wanted us to attempt a portrait of all the grand children in the lobby of the restaurant. I am always up for a challenge, and boy was it! Well not really, the youngest grandchild did not want to be held and started to cry. I suggested to the client that we opt to get the main portrait of the grand children and then get an individual shot of the little one at the end. She agreed and here is the final product with the little one added in post-production. Everyone that I have shown this to did not realize what we had done until we told them the story! There is nothing that we do not do in the studio to help a client!

An Afternoon at Washington’s Crossing Park

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

Catching up on some recent sessions that we have completed within the last couple of weeks. We had the opportunity to photograph a great family, including their new puppy at Washington Crossing National Park. We wanted to get the finish the main family portrait as fast as we could because we were not sure how long the puppy would be calm for. All in all we had a blast and here are some prints that we created. We got a 20×24 canvas mounted on masonite print of the family portrait for the studio and it looks awesome in our brand new custom frame. So we decided to add a new “finish” option to our prints. We will post more information and examples soon.
