Pose For the Cure – Anticipation 2009

Monday, August 17th, 2009

As a way to contribute to an important cause, Brandon Pittam Photography has decided to create and sponsor “Pose for the Cure” to help raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  “Pose for the Cure” was designed as a charitable portrait session that gives back two-fold.  Not only are we offering the client with an exhilarating experience, but also giving them a chance to give back to their loved ones – by giving them a special keepsake.  For the first time Brandon Pittam Photography will be donating 25% of the proceeds from each Pin-Up, Boudoir, and/or Glamour session to benefit Susan G. Komen.  Pose for the Cure will be an ongoing – year round promotion for the studio.

Our studio is also donating it’s time to help create several calendars for a local Salsa Dance Team.  In return, the dance team plans on donating a non-determined percentage to our “Pose for the Cure”.  Another proposed idea that we hope to do is create a documentary album of Breast Cancer Survivors.  We hope that this will help spread the word about Breast Cancer Awareness and the importance of having routine mammograms.  The studio is also considering a display piece for the album at local clinics to bring a sense of hope for sufferers and survivors.

In creating Pose for the Cure, we needed a logo to be designed, so I contacted an old High School classmate and asked her if she would donate her time and create our new logo. After telling her the proposal, she was more then happy to help out anyway that she could. With that, we are pleased to bring Kelly Donahue on board for this great endeavor! To see more of Kelly’s work you can visit her website – click here

Currently, we are looking for companies and individuals that would like to donate their time, facilities, and financial contributions to help make Pose for the Cure a great program! Please contact us for more information on how you can help make a difference.

Indoor High School Senior Portraits – Part 1

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

With the heat of the summer we decided to shoot our spokesmodels indoor sessions first and then have their on-location session at a later date when the weather cools off a bit. We had Kelsey and Allie in the studio awhile back and they were both excited to help us out. Kelsey will be graduating from Bensalem High in 2010, and Allie will be graduating from Abington Senior High School in 2010.

High School Senior Portraits without cap and gowns, or diplomas ROCK! We do not use fake roses for our props, we will burn a baseketball or go to an abandon building for our portraits! Do not settle for old fashion H.S. portraits….

More High School Senior Spokesmodels

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

We had the opportunity to photograph High School Senior – Erin who will be graduated from Nazareth Acedemy in 2010. She has been a great help to the studio and we hope that she spreads the word about our freestlye senior portraits!

Here are just a few of her favorite pictures from her session.

When she is 18 – She will Hate Me

But I love her so much I just have to post my work on here, even if it is of my own baby girl! Another continuation from the previous post.

Nothing special here for the lighting – but Portraiture is AWESOME.

My baby Madelyn Ann’s 1st Photo Shoot

Saturday, August 8th, 2009

Well Madelyn was knocked out today because she ate a lot during the day so I took the time to get a couple of shots of her.  So here is her debut portrait – Sleeping Beauty!

Just your basic lighting setup for this, (1) main light at 90′ to Madelyn and then (1) x-large reflector to the left with a “kicker” reflector behind her.  Not to mention the (2) background lights to blow out the white.

Studio Restructuring – Wedding Collections now with Negatives!

Friday, August 7th, 2009

After a long discussion with Meredith, we decided to restructure the studio’s procedure. The restructuring of the studio is in direct connection to our baby girl Madelyn being born. We both want to spend as much time with her, thus the best way is to put focus on children, family, executive portraits and our new senior portraits. With that said we are now including our digital negatives with our wedding collections!

Kevin & Staci

Saturday, August 1st, 2009

No pictures posted yet, because my proofing expert is in the hospital with our new studio employee – Madelyn Ann (HOMEPAGE).  But I wanted to send out a huge thank you to a great couple who knew when they booked up that Meredith would have been ready to give birth 3-weeks after their wedding.  We did hire our friend Brian Mengini as our 2nd photographer thinking that Meredith would just direct people.  To everyone’s  shock, Madelyn arrived (2) days before their wedding.  Not only was the entire wedding party happy for us, but Staci and Kevin, were just thrilled!  They gave Madylen a cute outfit and blanket set!  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
