There is not much to say about Silverlake Photo Accessories Inc - but they knockout the competition!!! Friend and business owner Travis Gadsby has created and developed one of the best all-in-one photographer stores on the net. We have been using Silverlake Backgrounds for several years now and will continue to use them for more years to come. We are finally in the process of putting flooring down in the studio rather then carpeting. the flooring will be a lot better for our in-studio portrait sessions. We decided to purchase the flooring from IKEA, mainly because it was the cheapest we could find, and still has a 10-year warranty. Once the hall way is completed we will be running the flooring perpendicular to the already laid flooring. This will also allow us to use the flooring as a “prop” for some of our planned Senior Portraits.

My friend and fellow photographer Rob Oresteen will be in Venice/Sarasota, Florida area on June 10th - 21st and then the 25th - 30th. He will be offering some TFP (Trade for Prints) with models and couples & hopes to book a couple of family sessions on Englewood Beach, Sharkey’s Pier, & downtown Venice.

After having my pocket wizard receivers hanging off my lights I needed a way to attach them to my light stands. So after some searching I found Hildozine Transciever Caddy which is worth every cent we paid.  The caddy is molded perfect to fit the receiver and attached easily to the receiver via screw.  Attaching our caddy with receiver to the light stand could not be any easier with the elastic straps.  No more tension on the wire connections to the strobes or flashes, this little item is perfect for any photographer whether you shoot portraits or weddings.
